Many children and young people from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar migrate to Thailand (especially to Bangkok) to look for work. They often end up living on the streets, where they become victims of daily violence and exploitation, or end up in conflict with the law. Sometimes whole families will move to Thailand, and without official immigration and identity documents, find it impossible to access basic services, especially to health and education.
