At the time, we didn’t have much choice for alternative locations that we could have moved to that were big enough or as central as our current center. The only other option at the time was much further out of town, which would have been too difficult to access for the children and families that we support. At our current location, children and families are able to come directly to our center and approach us for any help they may need. The location of our main center is vital to Mith Samlanh’s work and success. A center that is 20 minutes out of the city would not have been as effective. We are dedicated to helping the children we work with and in being so; we have to be here for them.
