Serving modern Lao food, shakes and cocktails
Experience the taste of modern Lao food in this training business run by the Friends Program ‘Peuan Mit, a project for marginalised children in Lao PDR. Makphet has been recognised by the 2009-2010 Miele Guide as one of Asia’s best restaurants. We are very proud of the team of students and staff!
Profits go back into Peuan Mit’s projects.

Friends the Restaurant

Tapas – Shakes – Daiquiris and Khmer Smiles
Located near the National Museum, Friends the Restaurant is famous for its frozen shakes and daiquiris and its Asian and Western style tapas.

Profits go back into Mith Samlanh’s projects for street children.

A taste of Cambodia’s provinces
Set in a beautifully decorated house and garden, Romdeng is a great location to sample creative Cambodian food. Romdeng can provide catering for weddings, functions and parties and can host events for up to 160 people.

Le Café Mith Samlanh

Situated in the lush garden of the French Cultural Center, this Mith Samlanh training restaurant run by former street youth in training serves breakfast from 7.00am onwards and a Khmer lunch buffet to small prices.
